Terms of Service

1. The service
Makerstand lets creators sell digital products, offer bookable sessions, and collect email subscribers through a hosted storefront. Creators are independent sellers; Makerstand is the platform, not the seller of record for creator products.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
3. Creator content & conduct
You retain ownership of what you sell, and you are responsible for having the rights to sell it. Prohibited: illegal content, infringing material, deceptive products, and anything that violates Stripe's restricted business list.
4. Payments & fees
Payments are processed by Stripe. Creators who connect a Stripe account receive payouts directly, minus the platform fee shown in their dashboard. Refunds are between the creator and their customer unless required by law.
5. Email
Broadcast tools may only be used to email people who opted in through your storefront or purchases. No purchased lists, no spam. Violations may result in suspension.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Makerstand is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to fees paid to us in the prior 12 months.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means acceptance. Questions: contact the site operator.
